'No Jews' advert appears in paris

articlemain

An advert for a graphic design job in Paris requesting that the candidate was "not a Jew" has sparked uproar.

The ad was posted on Monday by NSL Studio on jobs site Graphic-Jobs.com.

The company apologised after a shocked job-seeker spotted the discriminatory advert and posted it on her Facebook page.

NSL Studio withdrew the advert but offered conflicting explanations about why it contained the offending clause.

Racial discrimination is illegal in France and anti-racism group SOS Racisme says it is taking legal action.
