The composers of the Glee hit Don't Stop Believin', have taken legal action against an anti-Israel group for reworking the song into a pro-Palestinian tune without permission.

According to the New York Post, members of the band Journey are seeking a permanent injunction to prevent Adalah from using the song again.

The song, which became popular last year after it was performed in the first episode of Glee, was sung at a Boycott Israel event in New York last month and uploaded on to YouTube.

The name of the song was changed to "Don't Stop Boycotting" and lyrics included "Think when you're shopping."

The case, filed in Manhattan Federal Court, accused Adalah of copying "the entire melody, chord changes, and other musical elements."

In January YouTube removed an Adalah adaptation of Lady Gaga's song Telephone.
