Americans are known for their use of red and blue plastic cups at alcohol-infused student parties.

But the new "Jews vs Nazis" drinking-game - in which players create a swastika out of red cups and star of David out of blue cups - has caused an international uproar.

In a Fox4 interview, Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz of Chabad Lubavitch in south-west Florida, said the game was "a wake-up call" and called for more education.

Secondary school students at the Cape Coral High School in Florida posted a picture of the game on Twitter, with the caption: "This is what we play at parties."
