Israel's Foreign Ministry is investigating what happened after an Israeli diplomat's car exploded in Delhi.
A woman is understood to have been injured in the blast, in which the car went up in flames. The explosion occurred on Monday afternoon, Delhi time, near the embassy.
Yigal Palmor, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, would not confirm whether the diplomat was in the car at the time.
"We are looking into the incident and co-operation with local security forces is excellent," he said.
The Foreign Ministry also said that a bomber targeted diplomats at Israel's embassy in Georgia earlier today, but the device was diffused by a Georgian embassy staffer before any damage was done.
Avigdor Lieberman, Israel's Foreign Minister, said: "Without going into details, we are able to identify precisely who is responsible for the attack."
Israeli diplomatic staff around the world were already on high alert this week, as Sunday marked four years since the death of Hizbollah's terrorist mastermind, Imad Moughniyeh.
Hizbollah has vowed to avenge his death.
