Iran nuclear talks extended again

articlemain

Iran’s foreign minister has said that nuclear negotiations will continue over the weekend.

Mohammad Javad Zarif made the announcement at a news conference in Vienna on Friday.

"I doubt [a deal] will happen today,” he reportedly said after a meeting with United States Secretary of State John Kerry.

According to reports, Mr Zarif also said he hoped a deal would “not” be reached on Monday.

The talks had been due to finish today.

This extension comes after two other deadlines for a deal were missed.
