A fresh ceasefire appears to be holding in the Gaza Strip after a night of rockets towards southern Israel prompted IDF air strikes on Hamas targets.

Egyptian-brokered talks between Israel and the different Palestinian factions in Gaza led to the truce early on Tuesday morning.

It came after a rocket launched on Monday hit the home of dual British-Israeli citizens, Robert and Susan Wolf, in Mishmeret, a village between the Israeli cities of Netanya and Kfar Saba.

Seven members of the family were injured.
