A long-time rabbi in Hamburg was been fired, accused of falsifying his ordination.
Dov-Levy Barsilay, whose contract dated back to 1993, was dismissed and accused of having presented invalid Israeli ordination papers from 1986.
The 60-year-old is contesting the claim and accused the community of trying to ruin his reputation.
