Kiss bassist Gene Simmons has married his longtime girlfriend in a ceremony which will feature in the reality television series documenting their lives together.
Mr Simmons, the Israeli-born son of a Holocaust survivor, tied the knot with Shannon Tweed at a star-studded ceremony in Beverley Hills. Among the guests were Playboy's Hugh Hefner and other members of Kiss, as well as the couple's two children.
The couple have been together for 25 years and have returned to the public eye with the series the Gene Simmons Family Jewels, parts of which have been filmed in Jerusalem. The wedding will be televised later this month.
The 62-year-old musician, whose real name is Chaim Witz, has become known as an outspoken critic of President Obama's stance on Israel.
Following the president's speech calling for a two-state solution based on 1967 lines, Mr Simmons raged: "if you've never been to the moon, you can't issue policy about the moon."
