A number of guests at a kosher hotel in Switzerland are said to have been treated for injuries after a wooden bridge collapsed.
According to unconfirmed reports, four people received treatment on the scene after the accident at Levin’s Hotel Metropol in Arosa on Tuesday night. Two people remained in hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
The website Kikar Shabbos named one of those involved as Rabbi Hirsch Padwa, who heads a Zurich community and is the son of the head of the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations in London.
Levin’s has been popular with Charedi families from across the world for many years.
A hotel receptionist said she was not authorised to give any information but added, “Baruch Hashem, everyone is doing fine”.
