Backstreet are back – and heading for Israel

They may be pushing 40, but that has not stopped the Backstreet Boys from dusting off their dungarees and synchronised dance routines.

The reformed US boy-band, who enjoyed worldwide fame in the 1990s with songs such as “I Want It That Way” and “Everybody”, are back on tour – and will be performing in Israel later this year.

Municipal spokesperson Yaoz Sever confirmed that the “boys” – Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and AJ McClean - are scheduled to appear at the Ra’anana amphitheatre in Tel Aviv on July 29, 2014 for a one-off concert.

The concert will put them in the company of the Rolling Stones and Madonna, both due to perform in Israel this year.
