The European Jewish Congress has welcomed the arrest of far-right politicians in Greece.

Over the weekend, more than 10 senior members of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party were arrested after anti-fascist hip-hop singer Pavlos Fyssas was allegedly stabbed to death in Athens by a party supporter.

The party has denied any involvement in the killing.

Party leader Nikolaos Mihaloliakos was charged with belonging to a criminal organisation.
