Police in Zurich were dispatched to an Orthodox Jewish girls’ school this morning after a suspicious man was spotted nearby.

According to reports, a car was seen repeatedly driving past the school yesterday evening.

The area was put on high alert, and officers blocked the streets in the surrounding area.

Police said there was no indication of criminal activity, however.

The school, Machon Chen, is situated in an area of central Zurich which has a large Jewish community. The police will be releasing a statement later on Thursday.
