A Jewish mother who made a hoax bomb call to a synagogue as part of a campaign of harassment against another Jewish parent was jailed for three years today.
Claire Mann, 43, bombarded Roz Page with abusive messages after a dispute over a children's party.
She then tried to frame Mrs Page by sending similar texts to her own phone.
Mrs Page was quizzed by police as the row escalated and ostracised by other parents.
In July 2013 Mann used the same phone to text Elisheva Mason, the wife of the rabbi of Muswell Hill Synagogue, that a bomb had been planted near Finchley Synagogue.
The message read: "There's bomb in the Kinloss area hotels, where there are many Israelis staying. Please arrange evacuation."
When Mrs Mason replied: "Who's this?", Mann responded: "Don't question, act".
Sentencing at Wood Green Crown Court, Judge Robert Morrison told Mann: "This all arose when you thought your daughter was not invited to a birthday party for a schoolmate.
"You started a campaign against the child's mother that was spiteful and malicious.
"You bought a pay-as-you-go, unregistered phone and sent texts to yourself to support a claim you made to the police.
"You later used the same phone to send a message alleging a bomb had been placed close to hotels, close to a synagogue."
Mann left the phone on and it was traced by police to a cupboard in her home in Hendon, north-west London.
As police searched her house, she said: "I did it, I did it. It's a prank that's gone wrong."
Before today's sentencing, Mann had pleaded with the judge not to send her to jail because of her 11-year-old daughter.
Judge Morrison said he had given Mann credit "out of sheer compassion for your daughter, who will suffer while you serve your sentence".
Mann also said she had been alienated by her community, adding: "Not only have I been judged in this court, but I have been judged in the court of public opinion".
Judge Morrison told her: "You are right when you say you have been shunned by your community because of these actions - but that is your fault."
Mann, of Uphill Road, Mill Hill, north-west London, was sentenced to three years for attempting to pervert the course of justice. She had pleaded guilty, but tried to change her plea to not guilty during proceedings last Friday.
She was also sentenced to a further nine months on a separate charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice. The jail terms will be served concurrently.
Mann ran a firm with her partner, David Bright, called The Parents Voice, which acted as "McKenzie Friends" - paid but unqualified legal advisers - in family court matters.
The pair had submitted documents to a custody hearing in which Mann claimed to be a qualified psychologist and both were charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice in relation to the matter.
Mann admitted the offence, but Bright denied it and was convicted following a trial at Harrow Crown Court earlier this year.
Bright, 48, also of Uphill Road, London, was jailed today for 12 months.
Speaking after Mann's sentencing, Mrs Page said: "I'm relieved, pleased it's over. But unfortunately it cannot take back the damage that she's done.
"I've lost friends over this. I lost my position as chair of the PTA at the school over this.
"Throughout the whole case, I haven't seen an ounce of remorse from her, which makes me think she's not sorry."
