Donald Trump has dismissed reports that the US military together with Israel is planning to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities.

Iran should be a successful country but it must not acquire nuclear weapons, US President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday.

Dismissing the reports he instead advocated for a verified nuclear peace agreement.

He called for immediate efforts to negotiate such a deal.
