A minute’s silence will be held during the Pittsburgh Steerlers’ Monday night game against the Miami Dolphins.
A public commemoration ceremony also took place at Pittsburgh’s Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall, where a vigil was held a day after the attack.
Jewish leaders chose the theme of “Remember, Repair, Together” for Sunday’s services, which also included community service projects and study sessions of the Torah.
Robert Bowers, 47, has been charged with 29 criminal counts, including use of a firearm to commit murder. Prosecutors are understood to be seeking the death penalty.
