A gunman who shot several people at a country club in the US State of New Hampshire apparently shouted “free Palestine”, according to witness reports of the incident.

One person was killed, and two other people were injured in a shooting at a wedding in the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua on Saturday.

In a statement, New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella and Nashua Police Department Chief Kevin Rourke said that they arrested a 23-year-old man, Hunter Nadeau, and charged him with murder. He is set to appear in court on Monday.

The statement went on to say that he “shot and killed Robert Steven DeCesare (age 59) with a handgun. There is no known connection between Hunter Nadeau and Mr. DeCesare. In the same incident in which Hunter Nadeau shot and killed Mr. DeCesare, Hunter Nadeau shot and wounded two other adults.”
