A Orthodox man has been shot in a drive-by shooting outside a synagogue in Miami in a possible antisemitic hate crime.

The man was reportedly walking close to Young Israel of North Miami, where he is a member, when he was shot multiple times at around 6.30pm on Sunday.

The man, who was shot in the legs, was taken to Aventura Medical Center and is in a stable condition, Miami-Dade Police said.

A member of Hatzalah, the Jewish emergency volunteer service, was on the scene and treated him before authorities arrived.
