Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has ignored nearly 4,000 letters expressing anger over a performance by Bob Vylan in his London constituency.

The punk duo, whose frontman Pascal Robinson-Foster has courted attention by calling for “death to the IDF", is due to perform at Camden's O2 Forum in Kentish Town tomorrow evening.

The act gained immediate notoriety in the summer when, during a performance at Glastonbury Festival broadcast live on the BBC, Robinson-Foster ranted about a former employer he labelled a “f***ing Zionist” and encouraged the crowd to repeat his alternative to chanting “Free Palestine”: “Death, death, to the IDF”.

Members of the community have sent more than 3,800 letters to the Prime Minister, who serves as MP for Holborn and St Pancras, urging him to take a stand against the gig but have received no response, according to the group spearheading the campaign.
