JC investigations and political correspondent Jane Prinsley has been given a coveted place among the winners of the 30 to Watch: Journalism Awards for 2026.
The honour – reserved for the fastest-rising stars of reporting – was given to Jane in the category of news and investigations.
It comes after a brilliant year in which Jane has broken scoop after scoop across the news agenda.
The many highlights include exclusive stories on the police quizzing a wrongfully arrested mother over her Jewish faith, and a scout group appearing in an antisemitic video.
Among a steady stream of gripping investigations, Jane has exposed the scandalous editorial failings of BBC Arabic, revealed activist extremism in giant NGOs and lifted the lid on the worrying torrent of digital hate in the “manosphere”.
And Jane has also drawn on her superb political contacts to deliver matchless Westminster coverage non-stop as news breaks across government and opposition.
Welcoming the award, Jane said: “I’m so honoured to be named a winner of the 30 under 30 News and Investigations among such brilliant fellow journalists.
“Many thanks to the esteemed judges, my amazing Jewish Chronicle editors, and all the sources who have trusted me with their stories.”
JC chief executive Jo Bucci said: “Massive congratulations go to Jane...What an achievement, we are very proud.”
