Two teenage boys will appear in court in connection with a hate crime reported against a Jewish family on a Kent beach in May.

The JC reported earlier this year that the family – two parents and their five daughters aged between eight and 15 years old – were attacked at Minster beach on the Isle of Sheppey on Sunday May 28.

Kent Police said this week that a 15-year-old boy from Canning Town, in east London, and a 16-year-old boy from Minster have both been served a requisition to attend Chatham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 19 December 2017.
