Tributes have been paid to a 17-year old Jewish boy who has died following a motorcycle accident.

David Pressman, a former JFS student, passed away on Monday morning after sustaining critical injuries in the accident on last Wednesday.

In a message on behalf of the family posted on Facebook, his sister Lauren paid tribute to her “beautiful baby brother”.

She wrote:  “Words won't be able to describe how much I and all of the family will miss him forever but none of us will ever forget the incredible impact he left on so many people and he really couldn't have been a nicer and kinder boy, friend, brother, son if he tried”.

Over 100 messages of condolences have been left on the Facebook page

One friend, Joe Woolf, said knowing David had been “an absolute privilege… he will be truly missed”.

In a statement released by JFS, the school said they were "shocked and saddened to hear of David's untimely death.

"David was an active and valued member of our school community, both as a Student Officer and a part of many school productions. He will be sadly missed by his friends and teachers.

"We wish the entire Pressman family our heartfelt sympathy and sincere condolences at this difficult time.”

The funeral is due to take place on Tuesday. A group of pupils and staff from JFS is expected to attend.
