Holocaust denier David Irving speaks at secret London neo-Nazi meeting

articlemain

Holocaust denier David Irving was the guest speaker at a secret meeting in London where he is said to have addressed fascist sympathisers and neo-Nazis.

At the session at the Rembrandt Hotel in central London, Irving gave a speech titled: "Saturation Bombing in World War II – who is to blame?"

An invitation to the event, seen by the Mail on Sunday, said: “David Irving is the world’s MOST respected historian, he’s the world’s TOP expert on World War II.”

The historian, notorious for denying the existence of Nazi gas chambers, spoke to an audience of 120 right-wing sympathisers.

He condemned the bombing campaign over Germany and Nazi-occupied Europe and called it "a war crime".

The event took place behind closed doors at the four-star hotel. The audience was said to be made up of British National Party members and Polish nationalist skinheads wearing camouflage – complete with boots and chains.

It came three months after a meeting of far-right figures from around the world, organised by the same group, known as the London Forum.

Anti-fascist campaigner Gerry Gable said Irving’s appearance was the latest in a “growing series of closed international far-right extremist conferences".
