Adam Kay, the doctor who became a comedian, has been honoured twice in the 2017 Books Are My Bag Readers Awards.

Kay took home the Readers' Choice Award - voted for by 40,000 members of the public through their local bookshop - and the Non-Fiction award for his memoir about being a junior doctor, This is Going to Hurt.
