Sarah Jessica Parker has been nominated for a Golden Globe award for her role in HBO sitcom Divorce.
The Sex In The City star is up for best performance by an actress in a television series, musical or comedy.
Ms Parker is among several Jewish celebs who are in the running for the prestigious awards, which will be announced in Los Angeles in early January.
Also nominated is Winona Ryder for her part in TV drama Stranger Things. The equivalent award for a man could go to Liev Schreiber, who plays the title role as a fixer for the rich and famous.
Natalie Portman’s portrait of former US first lady Jackie Kennedy has been recognised with a nomination for best actress in a motion picture, drama.
Andrew Garfield is up for best actor in Hacksaw Ridge, while Simon Helberg has been singled out for his role as best supporting actor in Florence Foster Jenkins.
