Quinn of The Spectator in new JCC role

Although she resigned in December 2004 in advance of media coverage of her relationship with the then Home Secretary, David Blunkett, she was said to have remained a close supporter of the project and was happy to accept the invitation of JCC chief executive, Nick Viner, to rejoin.

Mr Viner announced two other new appointments this week.

Juliet Simmons is to become creative director. A former account director at advertising agency DLKW, she has been with the JCC since its inception in 2004. She has chaired Limmud conference and continues to volunteer for the organisation.

Former Southbank Centre project manager Katherine Sells has been appointed project director. She led the redevelopment of the Royal Festival Hall and did the same job for the Royal Albert Hall development. She takes charge of the construction of the JCC’s building in Hampstead.

Mr Viner said: “We now have a team of highly professional, top-notch individuals with proven track records. This will allow us to achieve even more as we develop something exceptional.”
