Making aliyah? The Jewish Agency can help you find a job

The Jewish Agency is offering personalised employment and career consulting sessions.

A new initiative has been launched to help prospective olim find a job in Israel.

The Jewish Agency is offering personalised employment and career consulting sessions. The agency is in contact with large employers and recruitment companies in Israel, as well as with relevant government bodies  for olim who need help with professional licensing procedures.

The service was set up in response to a growing number of people making aliyah from the UK. Finding a job is often the biggest challenge for olim. They have to learn a new language and  adjust to a different corporate culture.

The special sessions started last month. Any UK citizen interested in aliyah can now schedule an appointment with an employment advisor, anywhere in the UK. Meetings are conducted regularly in London and Manchester; meetings elsewhere can be scheduled (usually in person; virtually in exceptional cases) upon request.

For more information and to schedule an appointment, contact The Jewish Agency’s Global Service Centre on 0-800-404-8984 (toll free) or write to gci-en@jafi.org.
