Lauren Cohan is to star in a new pilot, Whiskey Cavalier for US televison network ABC. The actress, who is best known for her role as Maggie Greene in The Walking Dead, will star opposite Scott Foley.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cohan is considering walking away from The Walking Dead ahead of its ninth season, over an argument over equal pay with her (male) co-stars. She has been part of the cast since season two.

Whiskey Cavalier is described as "a high-octane hourlong action dramedy" about an FBI and CIA agent. Cohan would play the CIA operative.

The 36-year old - whose mother is British - converted to Judaism when she was five, and her mother re-married. She later had a batmitzvah.
