Emeritus Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks has been given another academic post with his appointment as Professor of Law, Ethics and Bible at King’s College, London.
Since his retirement as Chief Rabbi, he has taken on visiting posts at Yeshiva and New York Universities in the United States.
Rabbi Sacks has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the London college, having been made a fellow there since 1993 and a visiting professor in 1999.
King’s principal Sir Rick Trainor, said: “He is a greatly admired intellectual and public figure, known around the world. We look forward to his making a substantial contribution to research and to teaching: our students will learn a great deal from his extensive knowledge and experience.”
