Naomi Klein, the author and social activist, has announced she will publish a book about US President Donald Trump and his administration, titled No Is Not Enough, this summer.

Ms Klein reportedly began writing the book only two months ago, but it is scheduled for release on June 13.

No Is Not Enough promises to tackle the issue of “resisting Trump’s shock politics” and will set out a practical manifesto for action.

Ms Klein is known for No Logo, her 1999 work which focuses on branding and the actions of multi-national companies, and 2014’s This Changes Everything, in which she argues the climate change crisis cannot be addressed by the current neo-liberal economic system.

She said part of the motivation for writing No Is Not Enough was her belief that Mr Trump’s rise to the presidency was not an aberration, but an inevitable result of “destructive trends”, such as the rise of the “CEO saviour” concept.
