For the first-time, a kosher caterer has been accredited to cater events at some of the UK's most famous royal residences.
Food Story London Ltd has been appointed by the Historic Royal Palaces charity, which manages many of the palaces that are unoccupied by the royal family.
This means that fully kosher functions can now be catered at venues including the Tower of London, Kensington Palace, Hampton Court Palace and the Banqueting House at Whitehall.
Matt Rickard, the managing director of Food Story London, described the appointment as "another feather in our cap.
"Over the last two years we've already partnered with some amazing venues, including some of the top hotels and the Natural History museum", he said.
"But being recognised by the Historic Royal Palaces underpins the level we deliver at.
"From a professional point of view, to be appointed is recognition that you deliver events soundly and with quality."
"Not only are we opening this up to clients, but it's also a recognition that we deliver at the highest level."
The first kosher wedding has already been booked – at the Banqueting House.
Guests should not expect tzimmes at the Tower or holishkes at Hampton Court, however. Food Story menu options are a little more sophisticated, with example dishes including Oak smoked mackerel with black quinoa, citrus fruits, heritage beetroot and horseradish mayonnaise, and Black chocolate stout braised beef shin with sticky shallots, mushrooms, Spätzle and charred Hispi cabbage.
Mr Rickard said the newly available venues - which he described as "simply stunning" locations - could be "logistically challenging, because they are all museums, ultimately.
"While they were all designed for entertaining, let's not forget that they weren't designed for entertaining as they are now."
However, he said: "They are seasoned event venues, so they're set up for doing it. So, yes, there are challenges, but it's done and managed sensibly."
