Gwyneth Paltrow married Jewish television producer and writer Brad Falchuk, 47, over the weekend.
In a stunning Hamptons venue, the mother of two, who was raised “both Jewish and Christian,” chose Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica to be the host at her rehearsal dinner.
The dinner reportedly lasted from 6 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., and was said to be “filled with lengthy tributes to the couple and no shortage of glowing praise for the bride.” Jerry Seinfeld entertained the crowd with a "five minute stand-up routine."
Jessica Seinfeld told US Weekly back in May "I cannot believe that she (Paltrow) found somebody that…I love her so much and I think she’s the most extraordinary person and friend,"
Paltrow and Falchuk held their post rehearsal dinner at Jerry Seinfeld's Hamptons mansion. The Oscar winning actress and the stand-up comedian are neighbours in the Hamptons.
At the wedding, ET Online reported that “Gwyneth was elated and danced throughout the evening. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic….It was a very Hamptons, outdoorsy feel. The weather was glorious so it truly was a perfect scene.”
Following the celebration, Gwyneth posted a photo on Instagram showing the couple’s intertwined hands with wedding bands. There’s no word yet on whether the ceremony took place under a chupah.
