Israel’s Labour Party has postponed its leadership vote so as not to clash with Britney Spears’s concert in Tel Aviv on the same day.
According to Ha’aretz, both were booked for the same Tel Aviv venue but Labour was worried it would be unable to muster enough stewards and security since they would already be working at the concert. So the poll will take place the following day.
Given Labour’s less than spectacular recent record, perhaps the singer might be dedicating to it one of her songs, Slumber Party.
