The moment thousands of Israeli fans sang Chanukah prayers in unison just before a game in Haifa was captured in a dramatic video last week.
Crowds joined in during a menorah-lighting ceremony hosted at the city’s Sammy Ofer stadium last Thursday.
The match saw Maccabi Haifa FC achieve a 5-1 win over the city’s rival club Hapoel Haifa.
Sharing a clip on Twitter at the weekend, the group Stand With Us hailed it as an “amazing #Hanukkah moment.”
Taking to social media, one online user recalled attending the game and described its “amazing atmosphere”.
Another said the clip “made me smile.”
