Former Kadima leader Tzipi Livini is expected to announce today that she will be forming a new secular party.

According to reports, Ms Livni will declare the formation of a new centre-left movement called the National Responsibility Party that will run in the up-coming election.

Ms Livni’s announcement comes only seven months after she decided to quit politics. It is expected that former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will announce his political plans later this week.
