Tensions soar in West Bank following baby killing

There are reports of killing, shooting and rock attacks as tensions rise in the West Bank following the arson attack and death of a Palestinian baby in Douma .

The Times of Israel reported that shots were being fired at an Israeli car travelling near the West Bank settlement Kochav Hashachar. Some of the passengers shot back and the attackers fled. No injuries have been reported.

A Palestinian man was reportedly killed at the Qalandiya checkpoint during altercations with IDF troops on Friday afternoon. According to Ynet, several Palestinians threw rocks at Border Police officers, who were trying to disperse the crowd with tear gas. Israeli officials have not confirmed the claim.
