The leaders of Israel and the United States are to meet in Washington later this month.
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who is visiting London and Paris this week, is due to address a joint session of the US congress on May 23. The meeting with President Obama will take place at the White House three days earlier.
The White House said in a statement that the pair would discuss "the full range of issues of mutual interest to the United States and Israel."
President Obama last hosted Mr Netanyahu in Washington in September, as the US attempted to restart the Middle East peace process.
Mr Netanyahu has visited President Obama several times since he became president, including a shaky meeting in March 2010 when they disagreed over settlement construction plans.
