Prime Minister Netanyahu has claimed that Israel is "crushing" Iran during his first press conference since the start of the war.
"We are crushing the terror regime in Iran. We are striking and defeating its proxies – Hezbollah in Lebanon," he told reporters.
"Hezbollah is feeling our force, and it will feel it even more so. It will pay a very heavy price for its aggression.
"Through an unprecedented joining of forces between Israel and the United States, we have achieved tremendous accomplishments — achievements that are changing the balance of power in the Middle East and even beyond it."
He also repeated his claim that Iran's "industries of death", likely a reference to its nuclear and ballistic missile programmes, were months from being "immune to any strike", necessitating a pre-emptive attack.
"Therefore, we went out together to battle — the United States and Israel — to continue what we began and to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. To prevent Iran from developing ballistic missiles that threaten Israel, the United States, and the entire world. That is our objective," he went on.
And he said that Israel would "create operational conditions" for regime change in the country, but admitted he "cannot say for certain that the Iranian people will bring down the regime," adding: "You can lead someone to water, you cannot make him drink."
In the hours after the press conference, a woman was "moderately wounded" by shrapnel after an Iranian missile hit the northern town of Zarzir.
More than 50 people were injured in the strike, though most were only lightly hurt.
The IDF has since announced it will carry out an "extensive" wave of strikes on Tehran.
It has also repeated its call for civilians to leave Beirut's southern suburbs as it continues to attack Hezbollah.
Defence Minister Israel Katz has even suggested that Israel could occupy part of Lebanon in the near future, saying that, if its government fails to stop the terror group's operations, "[Israel will] take the territory and do it ourselves".
