Tensions with Iran are on a knife’s edge, as the US is pulling some personnel from the Gulf, Tehran is threatening to abandon nuclear treaties if sanctions are restored and Israel is reportedly readying for a possible solo strike.

Israel recovered the bodies of two hostages from a Hamas tunnel in Khan Younis. One was identified as Yair Yaakov, a resident of Nir Oz who was abducted and murdered by Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists on October 7. The second hostage, also taken from Nir Oz, has not yet been named.
