According to Israel’s internal security agency the Shin Bet, a number of young Israelis have been arrested in connection with the arson attack on a Palestinian family last summer.
Many details of the investigation, including the identity of those detained, have been subject to a gag order, which was partially lifted on Thursday.
Three Jewish suspects were put under administrative detention following the attack on July 31, which resulted in the deaths of three members of the same Palestinian family.
In the attack, the Dawabsheh family home in Douma, the West Bank, was torched. Eighteen-month-old Ali was instantly killed and his mother, father and brother critically wounded. His mother, Reham, and his father, Sa'ad, have since died as well. His four-year-old brother Ahmed is still hospitalised in serious condition.
"Vengeance" and "long live the Messiah" were spray-painted on the torched Dawabsheh family home. The IDF described the incident as "Jewish terrorism."
