An Israeli-Arab Muslim has confronted the Palestinian Ambassador to the UN about the fate of his two family members held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

In a video posted on Twitter/X Ali Alziadna stopped the Palestinian Ambassador to the UN Riyad Mansour to ask, "Why did they kidnap my brother? What did they do to deserve to be kidnapped? They have been in the tunnels for five months for what?"

Alziadnaโ€™s brother Youssef and nephew Hamza were taken by Hamas while working at Kibbutz Holit near the Gaza border.

Speaking to the UN Ambasador he said: "Hamas returned the Thai workers without a deal, and the Muslim who is like me and you they left in the tunnels hungry in pain and naked."

Alziadnaโ€™s relatives were among 240 people taken hostage on October 7 during an attack by Hamas.

His brother Youseffโ€™s 17-year-old daughter Aisha and 18-year-old son Bilal, were also abducted but freed after 55 days as part of ceasefire of negotiations.

In response to Alziadna's impassioned pleas the Palestinian Ambassador replied, "Don't let them use you."
