Pop sensation Noa Kirel and her footballer beau Daniel Peretz have married in Israeli
The couple – often dubbed Israel’s “Posh and Becks” – tied the knot in suitably lavish style, with four days of celebrations.
Their wedding week kicked off on Sunday, when Kirel attended the mikveh and a challah ceremony, before they celebrated together at a henna party.
Then, on Tuesday, they officially wed in an intimate sunset ceremony at the Bayit al HaYam venue in Jaffa, in the presence of just 150 close friends and family.
Officiating the marriage, Israel’s former chief rabbi, David Lau, said: "In the Temple, the Levites had two jobs: one was to guard the gates, and the second was to sing. So here is our couple: guardians of the gate (goal) and singers, for a long life and good health."
On Wednesday, the pair let their hair down, celebrating their nuptials with over 1,000 guests at the Hilton Tel Aviv in an opulent bash, featuring a star-studded guest list, performances – by Kirel and fellow Israeli singers Shlomi Shabat and Osher Cohen – and, apparently, endless desserts.
Famous faces who attended the party included Yael Shelbia, Noa Tishby, Maor Zaguri and Kirel’s fellow Israeli Eurovision stars Eden Golan and Netta Barzilai.
Kirel, 24, and Peretz, 25, began dating in 2023, and were engaged a little over a year later in September 2024.
Kirel, who represented Israel at Eurovision in 2023 with the song “Unicorn”, wore a series of glamorous wedding outfits by Israeli designers, including Alon Livné and Inbal Dror.
Orel Rabinovich, owner of Amadora Jewelry at the Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange, who designed the couple’s matching white gold wedding bands, told YNet: “Noa wanted something delicate. Both Noa and Daniel wanted to see the rings beforehand, approve them and make sure the engraving was just right. It was very meaningful to them.”
