Footage of Hamas terrorists operating out of a hospital in Gaza has been released by the IDF.
The Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, Northern Gaza, is around 100 metres from the yellow line – the boundary to which the IDF has withdrawn following the war against Hamas – and has been used throughout the conflict to store weapons and explosives.
It is unclear exactly when the footage was recorded.
In a statement, the IDF said: “The hospital and its surrounding area have been used by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) over the past few years to advance terror plots against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.

“This was done while exploiting a medical facility and despite repeated calls by Israel and the IDF to refrain from the military use of medical facilities.”
In August, military intelligence showed that Hamas had used a structure 70 metres away from the hospital to ambush IDF soldiers operating in the area. That site was also 170 metres away from a school.
The IDF has operated around the hospital in 2024 and 2025 and found that the building was used as bases by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist group.
In one operation the IDF captured 240 terrorists from the site including Anas Muhammad Faiz al-Sharif, who revealed how the hospital was used by terrorists during questioning.
He said at the time: “Weapons were moved in and out of the hospital for ambushes and tunnels.
He also said they used the hospital as a base because they believed the IDF would not bomb them if they were near patients and civilians, the Jerusalem Post reported.
“They believe the army can’t bomb the location, like with an F-16 missile, or destroy the building,” he added.
