The makers of a documentary short set in Tel Aviv were celebrating after winning an Oscar at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Best Documentary Short winner Strangers No More, a look at Israel’s Bialik-Rogozin primary school, was made by Karen Goodman and Kirk Simon. The school has pupils from almost 50 countries, many of whom have escaped conflict zones and persecution.
