MPs and senior shadow ministers will speak at a pro-Israel conference in central London on Sunday.
Politicians from the Conservative and Labour parties, and representatives from the Liberal Democrats and Ukip, will appear at the We Believe in Israel event, organised by Bicom and other pro-Israel groups.
Sessions led by figures from almost 40 communal organisations will focus on grassroots activism, fighting the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement, and anti-Israel bias in the media.
Speaking ahead of the event, Conservative chief whip Michael Gove said: “I am proud to be part of this year’s conference.”
Labour’s Shadow Transport Secretary Michael Dugher said: “I am deeply proud to call myself a loyal friend of Israel.
“This event will be a vital opportunity to re-assert that Israel has committed and passionate support across the political divide in the UK.”
Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis said: “We Believe in Israel is to be commended for bringing the Jewish community together to gain in-depth knowledge about Israel and to show solidarity with Israel at this challenging time. I look forward to being part of it.”
Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner, senior rabbi to Reform Judaism, said: “Most Jews in our community care deeply for Israel. Regardless of ideology, we have family and friends there. It is deeply personal as well as existential.
“The We Believe conference is a fantastic opportunity to educate ourselves better about Israel's situation and our own ways of getting involved. Whatever your perspective on Israel's future, please come and be part of the conversation.”
The first We Believe conference was held in 2011.
Former Israeli Interior and Education Minister Gideon Sa’ar, who will speak, said: “After addressing the first conference in 2011, it is wonderful to see how much the organisation has grown.”
Jewish Leadership Council chair Mick Davis said: “In the last 12 months we have seen Israel under unprecedented attack, both militarily and politically, having to take very difficult decisions to protect its citizens from a ruthless enemy intent on nothing less than its total destruction and facing a massive media onslaught in consequence.
“Indeed, to a degree we have never seen before, this attack has impacted on the Jewish community in the UK. There has never been a more fitting time therefore for a conference to celebrate Israel and its achievements and to promote its case.”
