A GB News commentator and political leader has expressed his shock that a “Jewess” may “rule over” Mexicans if she wins a presidential election later this year.

David Kurten, a former UKIP representative in the London Assembly who now leads the Heritage Party, shared a post on X/Twitter from American white nationalist Stew Peters that asked asked what the chances of a Jewish woman being elected to lead the North American nation were.

“Claudia Sheinbaum, a Jewish woman, will be the next president of Mexico,” he said. “What are the odds?”

Peters has previously claimed that Judaism “is a death cult built on the blood of murdered babies” and promoted Holocaust denial.

Sharing his post, Kurten wrote: “A Jewess is likely to be elected President of Mexico in elections later this year.

"This represents extraordinary success for the small Jewish community in the country, as one of just 65,000 Jews prepares to rule over 130,000,000 Mexicans.”

According to its manifesto, the Heritage Party, which is led by Kurten, supports “traditional family values”, slashing immigration, and making abortion illegal.

Last year, it stood 76 candidates at local elections around Britain.

Kurten also regularly appears as a pundit on upstart TV news channel GB News.

Last Sunday, he spoke in a debate on the channel to argue that Net Zero is “nonsense” and that Russia is not the enemy of Britain.

On their website, GB News wrote that Kurten had outlined a two-step plan to solving Britain's military crisis by ending "wokeism".

In 2022, the former UKIP representative was interviewed by host Mark Dolan about the Heritage Party.

It is not the first time the channel has courted controversy by hosting guests with extreme views.

Last year presenter Neil Oliver was condemned for sharing Nazi imagery himself on X.

Anchor Beverley Turner has meanwhile said that Covid 19 “causes less harm to certain ethnicities” including “East Asians and Ashkenazi Jews”.

Kurten and GB News have been contacted for comment.
