Vanessa Feltz is schleping "nachus to the max" this morning, after winning gold at the Gillard Awards last night.
Ms Feltz won Best Breakfast Show at the BBC Local Radio Awards event for her show on BBC Radio London, beating Liz Green from BBC Radio Leeds and Ben Prater from BBC Wiltshire. All were shortlisted for the award in September.
Ms Feltz joined BBC Radio London in 2001, presenting a mid-afternoon phone-in show, and has stayed with the station while her show moved into various timeslots. She started hosting her award-winning breakfast show in 2016, following her early morning show on BBC Radio 2.
The broadcaster and journalist tweeted "we're so grateful to our listeners for giving us such great content... if it wasn't for them I'd just be sat reading multiplication tables."
