Ruth Davidson’s vocabulary has increased after the Scottish Tory leader was among a sell-out crowd of 240 at a Burns supper at Glasgow’s Giffnock Synagogue.
Ms Davidson delivered the immortal memory — a tribute to Burns — and chatted to many of the guests.
“She was very sociable,” said Michael Clerck, who organised the event with Jeffrey and Susan Bradman.
“But she didn’t have the opportunity not to be as people kept coming up to her.”
