West Ham legend Sir Trevor Brooking was among participants in a Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony on the London Stadium pitch before the Hammers' Premier League game with Crystal Palace.
The ceremony also featured Newham Mayor Sir Robin Wales and West Ham co-chair David Gold, who said it was an "honour and privilege" to light one of the commemorative candles "remembering the six million Jews murdered and the many more millions around the world who have been victims of mass genocide.
"We are very lucky to live in a safe and peaceful country. It is important to remember those who are not as fortunate."
