Another synagogue in Golders Green has been targeted in an antisemitic attack, making it the third Jewish-linked property in the area vandalised in recent days.
Police described the series of attacks, two at synagogues and one at a private residence, as “revolting and appalling”.
The suspect was captured on CCTV smearing a bag of faeces onto the entrance of a shul on Highfield Avenue in the early morning of Sunday September 7.
The attack came just days after another synagogue in the area was targeted in a similar attack in the early hours of the morning of Wednesday September 3. A private home was also attacked on August 31.

Shomrim has gathered CCTV footage which shows a white male carrying out the attacks on two synagogues. In both incidents, the individual captured on CCTV wore a hooded jumper and shorts and had a close-cut beard.
The Jewish security charity said its volunteers had passed the footage onto the Metropolitan Police and had met senior members of the force’s investigation team.
A spokesperson for Shomrim said: “This is a deliberate and disgraceful antisemitic act targeting places of worship and members of our community.
"It is utterly disgusting, and those responsible must be caught and brought to justice.
“Nobody should have to face such hatred when going to pray or at their own home. Shomrim will continue to work closely with police to support the victims and to help ensure the perpetrators are found.”
No arrests have yet been made, but Detective Superintendent Tony Bellis, leading the investigation, said his team was “working at pace” to identify the suspect.
Bellis said: “This is a revolting and appalling act, and we are urging the public to help us locate those responsible as soon as possible. We are very aware of how distressing this must have been for those who use the synagogues.
“We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour. We are actively engaging with the local community and remain in discussion with community partners and key stakeholders to provide reassurance and support.”
