Former JC reporter Daniel Sugarman has been chosen as the new public affairs director of the Board of Deputies, succeeding Phil Rosenberg next month.
Mr Sugarman, who joined the Board two years as public affairs officer, said, he was "delighted at the opportunity to serve as the Board’s new director of public affairs, and look forward to working in this role with the organisation’s incredible team of Honorary Officers and staff, as well as our excellent deputies.
"Together, I believe we will go from strength to strength in ensuring our community has a strong and effective voice to promote their interests and concerns.”
Board chief executive Michael Wegier said: “We are very excited to appoint Daniel who has great experience in both public affairs and journalism, as well as having worked closely with both the Conservative and Labour Parties. He has already made a massive contribution to the Board’s work and I wish him every success in his new post.”
